Giorgio Tartaglino first investment in the Montreal real estate market goes back to the early 1970s, he has now more than forty years of experience in the industry both in the commercial and the residential sector. He first started to focus in the commercial and industrial properties to then shift to the residential developments.
The period from 1973 to the early 2000s was dedicated mostly to the commercial properties. The assets acquired during this period were predominantly commercial and industrial property, with a major focus on office buildings in the downtown area. At that time Giorgio Tartaglino founded a management company to manage, maintain and rent the building acquired over the years. Among the notable office buildings owned by the company at the time we can cite the “Canada Cement Building” located in front of the Square Phillips on Cathcart street and the “Croix Bleue” building on Sherbrooke street West.
In the early 2000s, the downtown area experiences a new interest in the residential developments. Willing to diversify from the commercial and industrial sector, Giorgio Tartaglino, stars to acquire land properties in prime location in downtown Montreal to host his future residential developments. Among the land properties acquired one stands out for its prime location. This newly acquired property sits at the corner of Boulevard de Maisonneuve and Drummond Street and will host Giorgio Tartaglino first residential development in downtown Montreal, Le Roc Fleuri.
Le Roc Fleuri is a 24-story residential tower composed of 140 luxurious condominium units. The residents of the building can benefit from numerous amenities and services like the indoor swimming pool, a private rooftop terrace, a sauna, a spa, a reception hall, a conference room, and many more… One of the most appreciated services offered to the resident is the possibility to be catered all day long by the high-end adjacent restaurant either in the unit or in the reception hall. Thanks to the high-end finishes and the luxurious services and amenities the Roc Fleuri is now considered one of the most prestigious addresses in downtown Montreal.
More recently, Giorgio Tartaglino launched a new residential development. The new development is now under construction and is located not far from Le Roc Fleuri in another prime location of downtown Montreal. This new project, named Le Roccabella, will rise just in front of the Bell Centre on Boulevard René Levesque between Drummond and de la Montagne Streets. Le Roccabella is a mixed-use complex composed of a commercial podium and of two residential towers. The commercial podium is two floor high and host all the amenities and services offered to the residents as well as commercial spaces and the lobbies for each of the residential towers.
